FAQs

What should I wear?

There is no dress code at Antioch Galveston, and most people dress casually. You'll see some in jeans and a t-shirt and others in slacks with a button-down shirt or a skirt and blouse. Feel free to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable!

What is a typical Sunday service like?

Our worship service typically runs about 80-90 minutes long and incorporates contemporary music and other worship elements. You'll also hear a Bible-focused sermon that talks about Jesus, how He impacts our everyday lives, and how we can practically live out the Bible throughout our week.

Is there something for my children?

Yes! Ages 1-3 have a class for the duration of the service. Ages 4-12 stay in the service to join for worship. We believe it’s important for our children to be a part of corporate worship. We desire for them to be in the presence of God learning from their parents and the body of Christ how to enter into His presence. They will be dismissed to their classes after the tithe and offering is finished. In their classes our kids encounter Jesus and grow in His love through their own special worship, age-appropriate teaching, and hands-on activities that reveal help them learn that they can have a personal relationship with Jesus.”

When should I arrive to church?

Our Sunday in-person gatherings start at 10:00AM! We recommend that people show up at least 15-20 minutes before the start of the service. This will give you time to find parking, meet someone new and get connected, find your seat, and get your kids checked in with enough time to make it back to the auditorium before we begin worship!
