Antioch Kids

Antioch Kid’s Ministry exists to provide a dynamic and fun environment where children can encounter God.

Each Sunday, your child will learn about the Bible and how it relates to Jesus in a creative and age-appropriate way. The lessons are fun and approachable and are taught by committed volunteers who love to serve Jesus by serving you and your kids. We also want to equip parents to train their children in the Gospel throughout the week. We send out a monthly email for parents so that they can introduce each month's focus so that you can continue the training at home. Our desire is to encourage and equip you for one of your primary ministries of raising your children to be lovers of Jesus. We also invite you to bring your children to Jesus nights and prayer times so they can have a lifestyle of ministering to Jesus together with you.

What is the safety measure you use for our children?

At the check-in desk, one of our kids ministry volunteers will help you register your child at the kiosk and print you a security sticker for you and your child. You must keep the sticker to come back and pick up your child at the end of service for security purposes. A volunteer will walk your child to their classroom where they will join their teachers and other children in the class. Your child’s safety is a priority to us. Each of our committed volunteer teachers have been carefully screened and trained.

How can I have my Child Dedicated?

Dedicating your child at Antioch is designed to give families an opportunity to publicly commit to raising their child in a biblical matter. We believe dedicating your child is also a great way to get knit into our community in a deeper way. We host a mandatory orientation to talk briefly about what it means to dedicate our children to the Lord, how it relates to the values of our church and what it looks like to raise your kids in the fear and knowledge of the Lord in daily life. We also discuss practicals for the upcoming baby dedication ceremony: where to go, when to arrive, what to expect during the service and details to share with your family.

  • Sunday

Our Kid’s Ministries are offered during Sunday Service. You can register your kid at the kids area check-in desk when you arrive.

Ages 1-3 have a class for the duration of the service. Ages 4-12 stay in the service to join for worship. We believe it’s important for our children to be a part of corporate worship. We desire for them to be in the presence of God learning from their parents and the body of Christ how to enter into His presence. They will be dismissed to their classes after the tithe and offering is finished. In their classes our kids encounter Jesus and grow in His love through their own special worship, age-appropriate teaching, and hands-on activities that reveal help them learn that they can have a personal relationship with Jesus.”

  • Serve with Antioch Kids

  • Kids in the Prayer Room

We want kids to know their identities in Christ and their roles in the Kingdom. We believe for the children what 1 Peter 2:9 says, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” We believe bringing our children into the prayer room will strengthen them in their walk with God. Training them to sit in his presence and hear his voice. Let the little children come.
